Please do not throw food into the bear pit, you are endangering the health of the animals!
Bicycle boxes and a repair station are available for cyclists at the Jägertor (entrance on the Elbe side of the castle). You can get the keys for these at the ticket shop in Wing D.
Schloss Hartenfels is certified as a family-friendly institution. The exhibitions can be visited with prams; baby-changing facilities are available in Wing D next to the toilets. Particularly suitable for visits with children is the exhibition STEADFAST, PIOUS, AND HARD-DRINKING (wing B).
